VIOLIN STRINGS

D’Addario violin strings are available in a wide variety of cores and tensions to suit the discriminating tastes and needs of both the professional player and the student. From the gut core Kaplan Golden Spiral to the dark and powerful sounding Zyex, or from the multi-stranded steel core of Helicore to the solid steel core of Prelude, D’Addario provides string solutions to satisfy the many needs of today’s players.

Super-Sensitive's Red-Label is one the most popular student strings in America. Economically priced, the strings are made with high quality winding and core materials providing the durability and dependability required by the school orchestra programs. Red-Label is available in 6 different sizes allowing younger students to use right size strings on their instruments rather than fitting larger sized strings on smaller violins. Made in USA. Available in 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 sizes as sets or individually.

Dominant series violin strings are one of the most widely-used synthetic strings, Thomastik Dominant strings have a highly flexible, multi-strand nylon core that is comparable in sound and feel to natural gut. Dominant sets include one of each string (E, A, D, G). Full size sets are available in one of three gauges: Mittel (medium), Stark (heavy), and Weich (light). E strings are available as Steel core, or Steel with Aluminum winding with either a Ball or Loop end.

Dominant series viola strings are one of the most widely-used synthetic strings, Thomastik Dominant strings have a highly flexible, multi-strand nylon core that is comparable in sound and feel to natural gut. Each set contains one of each string (A, D, G, C) where applicable.
