This wood is made of Tweneboa wood. The head size is approximately 14" and it is 27" tall. The shell is hand carved in Africa, and the finishing touches (finishing and installing the real calfskin head) are done by our drum instructor. This drum has a very original carving.

The shell is hand carved in Africa (Ivory Coast), and the finishing touches (finishing and installing the real calfskin head) are done by our drum instructor. This drum is carved in a traditional Ivory Coast style.
