BOSS FDR-1 Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb amp
The FDR-1 effects pedal is based on the Fender 1965-era Deluxe
Reverb — a coveted tube amp known for its natural touch response
and distinctive, snappy, overdriven sound. In conjunction with
Fender, BOSS designed this stompbox to re-create that legendary
tone. Features include the same controls found on the original
Deluxe Reverb: Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato, and Reverb. The
FDR-1 pedal also functions perfectly as a pre-gain pedal placed
before an already overdriven amp to add the tone character of the
Deluxe Reverb. |

Electro Harmonix USA Big Muff
Like the legendary Big Muff Pi of the '70s, the reissue Electro-Harmonix
USA Big Muff Pi Distortion/Sustainer Pedal has 3 controls that let
you dial in the finest harmonic distortion/sustain ever produced.
The Volume control adjusts the output level. The Sustain control
optimizes the long sustain with just the right amount of harmonic
distortion. The Tone control provides a range of sounds, from warm

psychedelic rangers like Hendrix and Santana used for rich,
creamy, violin-like sustain. Same as the prized classic effects
pedal with low-noise, military-grade transistors. The Electro-Harmonix
Big Muff Pi Pedal has its sustain, tone, and volume knobs on the
front of the rugged metal stompbox. |

MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive
This baby will surprise you. It surprised me. I
was anticipating a hard rockin' distortion pedal called an overdrive. It is not,
in fact, it is a really smooth and warm overdrive pedal reminiscent of tube
scrreamers and such. Zakk uses this in front of his distorted amp to kick the
leads up in distorion and volume, and it works great. I feel that even blues
players could really dig this pedal though. It is very frequent that you get
something that can run the gamut and provide so much. As always, MXR delivers
tone, and a sturdy chassis which should last you for years. |

ROCKTRON Silver Dragon Tube Distortion If you want to add some tube sound into your solid state amp, you can get it
here. You also get a great price. The Silver Dragon pedal actually gives you two
distortion channels. The rhythm (they call it "awaken") and the lead (they call
it "slayer") both give you nice tone. The "Slayer" distortion actually uses both
solid state and tube distortion to go into a Big Muff type of lead/sustain type
distortion. It can sing. Spice up your solid state amp. |

ROCKTRON Metal Planet Distortion
Need metal?
This pedal is not for the timid at heart – be ready for a heavy metal distortion
unmatched by other pedals. A Low control adjusts the low-end frequencies and the High
control adjusts the high-end frequencies. Middle control adjusts the mid
frequencies bite of the distorted sound, while the Middle Frequency control
adjusts the actual midrange EQ sweep. Use the Distortion control to adjust the
amount of distortion in the signal. |
